Large Call to Action Headline
I was asked this question … “You are working on Drones and such deep tech domains ... there are so many other STEM Courses ... so seriously, why are you insisting on the Creativity Mentoring Course!!?”
The answer is very profound and deep.
This short answer will certainly not justify the whole issue.
so here goes at the risk of coming across blunt and sharp.
Out going degree and engineers are totally incapable of anything
Complete retraining is required to be absorbed into the work force and that has proven to be highly ineffective and inefficient , I know for fact because I am a Corporate trainer.
Do not take the .001% of the population as the whole !!!
They have the potential I KNOW THAT FOR FACT TOO…. BUT BUT BUT
In order to achieve their real potential they need to be trained from CHILDHOOD … (again I will not go into detail)
Once the concept has been impressed at the RIGHT AGE (that being 8 to 14) it takes time to become second nature ….
and that time taken is usually till around 21 to 24
and HENCE THIS COURSE.
This is a complete misnomer term. The real issue is ADDICTION ….
Any form of addiction is bad. Even addiction to studies is bad. We need a balance in life of all things. But that is a topic for another article.
So what’s the problem?
Screen addiction is actually a term used when children are hooked on to WASTEFUL activities especially video games.
Why that? because they are easy to access and available at your finger tips and give a FALSE sense of achievement.
No physical development, no mental development … just a waste of money and the game provider becomes rich and you the parent end up with serious challenges.
I RECOGNISE THAT.
A child needs POSTIVE REINFORCEMENT … unfortunately these videos games have captured the trick to trigger Dopamine and that is one helluva addictive “drug”!
It is not ON WHAT but WHAT we do. I learnt my entire aeronautical and mechanical theories using the Library ENCYCLOPEDIAS when I was young and then the Internet.
I used to watch Doordharsan UGC programs, National Geographic TV Programs … when people used to watch Hum-Log and such TV soaps !!
In fact I credit YouTube University for my in-depth knowledge of Aviation and Robotics. EVEN TO THIS DAY … I am able to connect to people around the world.
I am able to reach you … this you are reading is online.
So kindly understand the use of technology has to be tempered and I teach that to your child and activities are selected as such.
I have also made sure that your child gets AMPLE Positive Reinforcement. Trust the process. That’s the best I can say for now.
True and False statement.
Let me answer this in a quick and simple manner without going into too much detail.
Aeromodelling done in its COMPLETE sense needs at best a small open field, a park or a football ground.
Starting levels of aeromodelling are actually Paper planes and you will be surprised on the amazing planes that you can make and understand the total domain of aeromodelling I kid you not. I conduct Paper Plane workshops for FINAL YEAR AERONAUTICAL ENGINEERING STUDENTS and they are awestruck. So please don’t judge so soon.
Having said that if you are living in flats the area in the front typically parking and some play areas can be utilized.
Best is the nearby park or empty plot !!
Trust me and TRUST THE PROCESS … Aeromodelling (to learn) does not really need a large space.
Oh yes … Flight simulators are also a thing to be considered … but not so soon … maybe after 2 months … and that too maybe.
This is one question that has to be answered and cleared before buying any course …especially a course like this which involves a lot of software and hardware.
I will give a very shortened and to the point answer here … but you can get a fully detailed answer in the FAQ section or the In Depth Series blog Post
Quick points to be kept in mind
NO KITS : no ready made kits absolutely prohibited only focus and everything is directed towards Recycle, Reuse and Repurpose
MATERIAL PACK : Is optional and you can procure it from where ever you wish …t to make things easier (trust me it is a real pain to self buy)
TOOLS PACK : What is available at home and a few you may need to by. again full list is given… either Amazon or Local hardware shop
TAB ONLY : No Mobile phone is encouraged (if that is the only way …well we cannot help it) … avoid Laptops as much as possible.
SHARING : Yo may need 5 but the pack comes in 50 … what will you do with the remaining 45… RESELL on our own Market Place to other Memebrs only or FREE Share it to poor parents … I enroll a few orphans and poor families after due diligence
SOFTWARE : ALL with no exception software's use are based on the FREEMIM model … DO NOT BY any apps or softwares. We se Ardino IDE, Sketchup FREE, Fusion 360 FREE, Blender, Notion, Gmail etc

I want to quickly cover one more topic about money … the perception that Aeromodelling and Robotics is expensive.
Aeromodelling
What we usually refer to is HOBBY aeromodelling which can be quite expensive. I agree. I have friends who have Helicopters and Jets and such and it can go in lakhs of rupees
But that is like saying owning a bike is expensive ..it’s wrong isn’t it ?
You can easily by a Honda 125cc bike or a Honda Goldwing.
Affordability has entered Aeromodelling in such a big way I actually feel ashamed !! I mean we used to struggle with Balsa and beg for good RC controllers. All that has changed. and for the BETTER.
Robotics
Gone are the days when micro hobby computers like BASIC Stamp needed to be imported and were indeed expensive and COMP:ICIATED for the average person. Today an Arduino can cost as less as Rs.250 which is dirt when compared to what it can do and the knowledge it can reveal. and wow are they easy to use and program.
Imagine telling 8 to 14 year old words like SCRUM, AGILE, Inventory, Resources, Precision, Metric, Analytics, etc LOL LOL LOL I am sure they will run away.
Lots of our skills we learn and master … but gift-of-the-gab for specific areas is PURELY GODS GRACE. If there is one and only one blessing that I should name that I am truly grateful for is the ability to explain very complex topics in extremely bit sized and easy to understand way. A ig part of the gift is the ability to relate and literally demonstrate those topics in ANY INDIVIDALS life … which they immediately connect to and understand.
In fact the reason for getting into training was that.
I was an adventure sports service provider and the way I used to explain and connect outdoor activities to indoor corporate requirements like resource management , time management, crisis management, mitigation of severe outcomes and such was noted by senior management and they encouraged and kind of literally dumped the teams on me for traiining. Of corse I eventually took formal training …t that is another story.
The point is we ae all blessed with some skill or the other … mine is to simplify the way YOU UNDERSTAND (as in the student.
On a candid note … my success rate with ages below 16 is nearly 100% (95% standard… given more time I cover the remaining of 100%) Ages between 16 and 30 are a lost case LOL LOL .. then the success resets to 80% for ages above 30 !!! (Mysteries of life eh??)
